š¶ SILENT TEARS: THE LAST YIDDISH TANGO
Where memory, poetry, and music become testimony.
The Art of Humanity presents Silent Tears: The Last Yiddish Tango, a moving musical journey giving voice to Holocaust memory through poetry set to the haunting sounds of 1930s Polish tango music.
Performed by the acclaimed Payadora Ensemble, Silent Tears transforms words of remembrance into music, honoring lives, preserving stories, and ensuring the voices of the past are carried forward.
Following the 11:00 AM performance, Carolina Simon, Founder & President of The Art of Humanity, will lead a special discussion exploring the significance of music and poetry during the Holocaust and the role of the arts in preserving memory.
Following the 7:00 PM performance, Dr. Robert Watson will lead a special post-show discussion exploring these powerful themes.
