This event is open to all Palm Beach Lions of Judah and women who contribute at the Lion of Judah level to any Jewish Federation in North America during the 2026 campaign year or who have created a Forever Lion of Judah Endowment locally. Women’s Philanthropy is for anyone in Jewish Palm Beach who identifies as a woman.
Featuring Award-Winning Author Dara HornDara Horn is the award-winning author of seven books, including the bestselling People Love Dead Jews and five acclaimed novels. Named one of Granta Magazine’s Best Young American Novelists, she has received numerous honors, including two National Jewish Book Awards, for her powerful storytelling and thought-provoking insights into Jewish life. A regular columnist for Tablet and contributor to publications like The New York Times and The Atlantic, Dara holds a Ph.D. in Yiddish and Hebrew literature from Harvard. She has lectured for audiences in hundreds of venues throughout North America, Israel and Australia. Dara lives in New Jersey with her husband and four children.
We invite all Palm Beach Forever Lions and any current Lion who is interested in endowing their annual gift to our Federation to join us for a special pre-event reception with our guest speaker, Dara Horn.
